Have had nothing but fuel problems with the new boat...
At 40 hours the dealer replaced the WHOLE fuel assembly( low side i believe ) because it died on me one day and would not start. At 80 hours took the boat in again because it died and would not start , dealer said it was a fuel pump connection problem.

Took the boat out about 3 weeks ago for the first run of the season and was getting a hesitation / lag.. Would not matter if I was doing 50 or 5 MPH.. I could just feel some loss of fuel going to the motor... She also died a few times that day and had to wait a minute or 2 to re-start... We chalked it up as bad gas and ran through that tank with various stalls and hesitation.

Tank was prety much empty, put in some 92 octane and a few bottles of STP to get any water out... Still the hesitation and the she is stalling all the time now ...

Somehow we think it is a bad pump or pump relay ...
We found that when she stalls we go to turn the key and wait to hear the fuel pump kick in
( a buzzing sound ) and there is nothing ... The boat WILL not start until we turn the key and hear the pump kick in ...

So many times we are sitting and turning the key to one click right before we try to turn her over and wait to hear the fuel pump sound... If there is no sign of the pump running it will not start. If we hear the pump run she will start every time ...

It is under warranty , but I want to make sure they FIX it this time..
It is a pain in the @ss to take the boat 1 hour away and loose any water time that we may have ...

Wondering if anyone had any fuel problems that have the same fuel system .. I believe it is called the " COOL FUEL" system and it may only be a few years old...

Cool Fuel pump are just submerged pumps been used for years. I would ask them to replace your fuel filler. Reason is the tank vent is in the filler and if it is not acting right it will strian your pump and burn it up. But the fuel pump is pretty simple on these boats. The PCM tells it to start pumping and it is regulated by the injector rails. Its either pumping or not.

The 210 the fuel pump access is under the rear center seat. If you can get to yours with a volt meter, you will be able to tell if its getting power or not. Then, you'll know it it's the pump or electrical before the pump.

Glad to hear it. Hopefully it holds up as a permanent solution. Have to wonder aloud, though, if there is a danger for sparking?

A dealer 'jury-rigging' around a bad connection? I'd insist on them replacing the connectors on both sides with new (at end of season, or whenever is convenient for you). Hopefully this is an effort to isolate the problem rather than a permanent solution, as this just sounds wrong to me.
