On my dash inboard of the bilge switch there's a toggle boot. I haven't found any info in the FourWinns owners manual that came W/the boat. Anyone know what it's for or could be used for?

Is that the helm reset?

To reset what?
It feels like just an empty toggle cover, no switch under the protective cover???????

Do you see it on my helm? I assume you are talking about the little toggle looking thing - rubber - under my ignition key? I think the Dealer told me it was a reset breaker for the helm - gauges stereo - lights etc. Haven't had to use it yet but I think there is a little push button reset under (inside) of it.

Mine is inboard of the bilge switch in line with it but outboard of the steering column. It feels empty like nothing in /under it. I have no clue what or why it's there. I was just so happy to be out on it being new, I never looked under the dash to see if there's any wire to it.I will this weekend. Last weekend W/picking it up, getting stuff in it , getting it wet & working holiday just was too overwhelmed. In a GREAT WAY!!!

I'm pretty sure it's the helm reset. The reason it's empty, is that the breaker is in-tact. When the breaker trips, the button will pop out. Then you can push it in to reset it.

Blessed - what is that on the back of your chair? Stereo remote?

It is an ignition switch reset. Like a breaker for the ignition swith if say it short because it gets wet. This inboard/outboard talk has me spinning in circles.

Thanks for the answer. I'm just used to using the inboard/outboard descriptions from work  You know that dirty 4 letter word thats gets in the way of boating!!!! Oh yeah but if wasn't for that disgusting thing I wouldn't HAVE the boat

No, its a FWs Wave Emblem. But that is a kick @$$ idea! On the 1st mates seat anyway (I would get a little skittish feeling pokes in the back from people who had a few too many and its a little too dark to see  )
You know, it occurs to me that what FWs should do is have a "Fan Recognition Week" Something like "Pimp My FWs" or "Monster Dock" and let all the gang from iFourWinns have at the gel, stripe, canvas, vinyl and trailer bays; and the parts bins - no restrictions but to begin with a factory hull and deck - like an H220 / 240 or something. Just imagine what kind of rig this crowd could come up with
That was part of the great fun in my early days stripping and re-building cars. You had unlimited access to all of the best parts from any car imaginable. We could create option & color combos that were never imagined by the factory or if they had - the car would never be affordable. Switches from here - transmissions from there - upsize that engine sir? YES PLEASE! ooooh that model had an awesome chasis and that year had really cool interior lighting and dash. Dibs on the leather recaros . . . what do you mean those wheels won't fit? Change the hubs & rotors then - I want dual piston calipers anyway! Ahhh, good times.

Nice. The car shop sounds like tons of fun.

I don't have logos on my seats. I wonder why they aren't just embroidered in? It looks like there is a plate there... A stereo remote switch would be killer in that location, esp on the port side. I thought you were a genius when I saw that. Now my opinion of you is back to normal!

Well, that opinion is still better than most have of me . . .
