Hi Everyone,

I tried searching for the answer to this on the forum/web but could not find a definite answer.
I have an '89 Sundowner 205 with a Cobra 800 outdrive. I recently bought a SS prop, and before I replace my existing prop I need the proper torque specs for the prop nut. I had some Merc guys tell me they torque their's to 55, however I want to be sure for my Cobra. Thanx in advance!

70-80 ft lbs if you have the bronze spacer, 120 in lbs if you have the black nylon one. I just get it good and tight with the prop wrench. Grease the shaft with OMC triple guard grease and use a new stainless cotter pin.
