This morning getting ready to go to lake I was insp under side of boat. I noticed about 3-4' fwd of stern on starB side 2-3 " for centerline, a 2" round black plastic or rubber plug! Any of the more seasoned owners care to enlighten this newbie as to what it's for  Thanks in advance

What's on the inside of the engine room at that same location? There are a bunch of things it could be, but it's likely the depth/temp/speed transducer. Or just depth/temp as the speed ones actually pop-open and reveal a paddlewheel sort of gadget to measure the speed of the water. |

On the 190, that'll be the depth sounder transducer. It's not a plug, that's the end of the transducer. |
