It is with a heavy heart that after 100 posts I must submit my resignation from the Horizon Thread of this page. After a few family trips and some deep discussion my wife and I decided that our beloved H180 had to go, so today we said goodbye.

I appreciate all the help and support the Horizon guys have given me over the past few months and I beg of you to allow me to visit on occassion.

Oh and if you ever need to find me ..........................

Enjoy! My wife and I battled(lovingly) between a Funship 204 and a Horizon 210 for a while. In the end her comment that a Horizon looked sexier won out. I still have a fond spot for Funships though.

I couldn't agree more. My wife on the other hand didn't go for the sexy argument as much as the onboard head and capacity for the dollar. Big families equal big boat. For my money a 260 would be the way to go but I couldn't get another 20 grand out of her.

Just love the space on the funship. Only issue I have is the lack of a glovebox. I'm sure I can make due. We are driving 4 hours in the morning to grand lake for her first time out with us. It was tested locally by the dealer knowing we were going such a distance so I'm ready to go.

Better yet we have 8 adults and 5 little ones going and it just so happens the 224 has a 13 person capacity. Were planning a cruise to the hot spots with everybody one afternoon/evening.

Nice upgrade and glad to see you're not moving far from the neighborhood. I saw one out for a demo ride with the dealer yesterday and it looked like a very entertainment friendly boat.

You'll like the wakeboard tower because that thing threw one heck of a wake.

Congratulations, Marc, that's a major upgrade, for sure. Now you just have to break in another new boat ;) - enjoy!

Thanks Mike, it was everything I could do not to stop by some water on the 15 mile trip home and just dip it in. Maiden voyage on Grand Lake tommorrow. That will do, that will do just fine. I'll have a full report, was just reading that Grand Lake has more coastline than the entire west coast. Now we can ride it in style.
