Hey guys, i have a 2006 H180, and the engine hatch spring keeps breaking. In my opinion this is a terrible design. My question is on the new 180's there is a hydraulic cam, does anyone know if this can be installed on my boat? or has someone already done this?. I must have gone through 6-8 of these things and most of them haven't been me. I know they only work right when you push it to the back of the boat to close but sometimes it gets pulled instead |

yup dumb design. really stupid. dealer wrecked 4 before they even realized it needed to be pushed back. I havent wrecked the one they put on but I am sure one dumb day I will. There really ought to be a better fix than having tons of them on hand |
