Had a bit of fun this week...

Picked up a set of Brand New tower Speaker pods for $60.00 in Sydney while I was up there.. they look great! The guy who sold them chucked in the speakers as well ( not great speakers but they were free & will do for now). Not sure how they will fit between the tower and the bimini but for $60 it was too good to pass up! I also have a clarion 4 x 50W amp in the garage. Now all I need it a good marine stereo with Bluetooth for audio streaming and an SD card slot. Yes I know I can throw $300 at one but I have just spent my hard earned on the prop...

Heading to Prop shop to pick up a High Five 19P today, and have a mate that has imported a tower mirror for me which I will pick up Saturday.

Planning to install my hot water transom shower on Saturday as we are heading out to Hazelwood Pondage on Sunday to test the new prop

Yes will take photos...

Looks like it's going to be perfect weather on Sunday. Sounds like a good pick up..

I'm just watching the 100k/hr winds blowing the 80ft gum trees above my boat. So far all the branches that have fallen have missed it. Not happy. Hopefully it will calm down this afternoon.

Just booked a long weekend in Hobart in a couple of weeks. Will check out the waterways, especially the D'entrecasteaux Channel. Tried to take the boat last year but never made it.

Cheers.

Brace yourself Sheila.......

I flew in on the 11pm flight last night and it was like a cork in a stormy sea and it was not as bad as today. This afternoon the winds are gusting 130kmh at Mt Hotham and over 120 at Avalon!!

Let us know how many paper bags get used

Hi dudes,
Yep, another crap windy arvo in Vic.
Let's hope that your airline has a reasonable stock of spew bags Liquidenoir.

Interested to know how the prop goes Mark. Sounds like you are flat out on the extra bits for your boat.
Yes, you do have to post photos.

Have a good weekend all.

Cheers, Craig

Hi all,
Spotted a black & white SS about to launch at Martha Cove Saturday at around 1.30pm. Didn't get close enough to tell the size. Looked like a 210 or maybe a 220.
Anyone from here???
BTW: The tow tug was a Landcruiser.

Cheers, Craig

Nope not me. The weather was a bit dodgy to get out at that time on Saturday, bit of wind and rain around still..

Where is everybody in Aus. No posts for weeks.
Weather looking pretty good for most of the next in Melbourne. Tuesday looks the pick so might try for a run from Patterson River. Might take my father. At 89 yrs old he's never been in the boat..
Hey Craig, you building any of the homes under construction at Martha Cove ? Seems to be a hive of activity. Called in for a coffee on Thursday.

We checked out the waterways around Hobart and surrounds last weekend. Very impressed. Can't wait to get done there.
Boat booked in for the yearly service next week so come on summer.

Does anybody use the small side bunks on their trailers ? If so, are they worth having ?

Cheers all

Graham

It has been pretty quiet from us down under dudes.

Today would have been awesome on the bay. Unfortunately work gets in the way of a good time......
My mate was taking his new (second hand) Malibu Wakesetter out after work this afternoon. Haven't heard how he went as yet.

Not building anything in the Cove at the moment Graham. The work there has increased since the new developer took over.

Hey Mark, you will have to post some pics.

Have a good weekend all.

Cheers, Craig

Took the family to Hazelwood today for a ski. Got the weather just right. Rained on the way down then partly cloudy all day and began raining on the way back.

Kids had a good ski, mine was ok but the boat is so gutless I had to do a dry start to slalom. Could not pull the wife out with the 19P high 5. Ran a 17p high five will all the holes open that I had borrowed and it managed to pull us out but ran into the rev limiter before hitting 35mph.

Kids had fun wakeboarding as it kicks up a huge wake when trimmed up.

Washed it and took photos, now off to the mechanic this week to see if he can find an issue. If not we will flick it and buy another boat.

Hi Mark,
Good to hear that you and the fam had a great day.

Not good that the boat didn't live up to your expectations with the High 5 prop. Sounds like there may be something wrong. My previous same size boat as yours with same engine had amazing holeshot......and that's with the original prop.

Let us know how you go.....and post some pics when you get a chance.

Cheers, Craig
