Yes. Dozens of them. Takes about an hour to get around. Boat ramp well lit at night. Closer to Christmas, lots of boats covered with decorations.

3 more days to summer break and four weeks of boating!!! Where’s everyone headed? Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula for me followed by a big flushout on Lake Eildon for Australia Day weekend. Sorry for you guys across the pond who are doing this strange thing called winterising!

Hi Melbourne boaters.
Hope you guys have done the Patterson Lakes Christmas lights. Well worth it. Last three weeks of December but most there now.

Hi Dcerra.
Going to do the trip from Sale, down the Latrobe river then through the Gippsland Lakes to Lakes Entrance. Probably stay there over night or at Metung. Usually stay at The Moorings. Great spot if you haven't been there. Another spot to eat on the way is Pier 70 at Paynesville. Moor out the front. Great food.

Rest of the time on the bay, Murray or Eildon

Hi Daz. Good to hear. We went Sunday night. Non stop boats....

Hi Stoker. Where do you plan to boat. ? Ski., leisure fish, all the above.?

Just back from our trip through from Sale to Paynesville. Magic day. River was fantastic..speed limit 20kph...might have been a little quicker. Lake Wellington smooth as glass. There's a pylon every 1.5k so you can't get lost.
Up to Paynesville for lunch and return. Roughly 3 hours each way with swim/ski stops. Water 31deg C.
Pick a low wind day as the lakes can chop up. We has an Easterly in the afternoon so no issues.

Cheers.
