Yep, you sure did Ardy.

What a top weekend again. We cruised on Sunday from Martha Cove to Queenscliff (about 35k) on almost glass water.
If you haven't been there, the public berths are in the 5th entrance with a small donation.
Very nice restaurants and shops. Good way to fill in a couple of hours.
There were the usual seals and dolphins along the way.

Cheers

I agree Liquidenoir, its a great trip.

Another is from Mornington Pier to St Leonards pier. Bit over 30 minutes @ 55Kph.
You can tie up at the pier and the pub is just across the road. Have a holiday place 300m from pier.

Cheers, Craig

Might have to give that a miss Craig, but sounds good.
The good lady doesn't like being too far from the shore and it could chop up a bit for the 180. You've got an extra 3/4 tonne to handle it.
Will drop it in at Sorrento and head up closer to the coast when the tide's in. It's less than 1/2 metre deep off the West Channel.

cheers

My wife & I are relatively new to the waterways of Melbourne & would love to tag along with you guys on the next trip, if possible?
There's only so many trips to Pt Melb and Patto that we can handle!

Daz.

My mate in Perth sent me some photos of our old family boat, moored at Rottnest Island, in WA:

Sounds good deafwish. We will most likely launch from Mornington and do some wakeboarding close by.

Have a good weekend all.....

Cheers, Craig

Back home again. (Melbourne)

Just had a fantastic 5 days cruising on the Hawkesbury River and waterways. We probably covered more than 200ks.
Beautiful marinas, hidden little pubs, top restaurants, some only accessible by boat, great scenery.
Exciting getting into the Pittwater inlet with the swell about 2metres and an ebb tide.
Quite a few FW's 180's, 200's, 265's, 318's,
Cannot recommend these waterways more highly.

Will post some photos later.

Looks like a great weekend in Melbourne

Cheers, Graham

Looks like a perfect day. Spent the day cleaning bugs off the boat and car.

It was an awesome day.
Spotted the dolphins about 400 my off the beach between Mornington and Mt Eliza.
