Finally got around to mounting the fish finder I got for an anniversary gift last year. Will try it out tomorrow. Hopefully no water intrusion & can find those dam fish!!!!

I never seem to catch fish when the fishfinder says they are there, yet I do when there are none showing! I just tend to use it as a sophisticated depth / bottom contour sounder , but maybe it's lying about that as well ? I don't think so though, the indicated depth and the depth the Faria gauge indicates tally pretty accurately.

I got try it out. saw alot of fish but the buggers were in the wake zone & I ain't seating out there  W/all the other boats cruising around. Not alot in the NO WAKE zone where we anchor for me to fish & Mrs to sun herself. The bottom is pretty much flat being a core of army engineers project. Still am happy W/install/location used the R/H cup holder that way it's basically out of the way of anything & has great visibility for me driving.
