Take it to Phil Dill, you wont even be able to find where it was.

We went out this weekend and discovered a small 1/2" tear on the brown side vinyl of the cushion that covers the anchor locker. Looks like it was stressed and ripped at the point where the plywood structure of the cushion meets the foam/vinyl. Anyone know of a good vinyl repair DIY kit or is it always best to take it to a shop? I figure we'll have eventually have a tear on upholstery that isn't easily taken to a shop, and this may be time to get a kit. But this cushion is EASY to take to a shop. Is Phil Dill in DFW? This kind of tear wouldn't be covered under warranty, right? We've not had the boat a year yet, still only 15 hrs on the engine.

Also, has anyone built a cover for this anchor locker out of plywood or starboard or something to make it a real step and save the cushion wear and tear? That's my next project... I'm thinking of 3/8" plywood with no-slip stickon surface to make it safer. $10 or less for a project.

Thanks!
