I did my once a year trip to the boat show yesterday. I always ride my bicycle, that way I cant bring anything big home with me. I noted a few prices down for you guys in the Northern Hemisphere to compare .All prices are Australian dollars
1) Bayliner 175 bowrider $33,995
2)Four Winns 180 Horizon $32,999
3)Crownline 180 bowrider $34,999
4)Maxum 175 bowrider $34,999
5)Glastron 175 bowrider$27,995
All the boats were fitted with the Mercruiser 3.0 sterndrive and prices were drive away no more to pay .
The boat show this year was interesting in the fact that I have already ordered the boat I wanted, and dreaming about all the new boats didn't happen. Any way 4 months to go til delivery of the H180 . Keep the posts coming it helps pass the time until delivery.

That's a pretty serious shipping charge...that Bayliner 175 starts at $11,620. I don't even want to know the thinking in pricing it higher than the FW 180 :?

 Holy . . . Is that quoted as calculated to U.S. currency? I paid in the area of 20% more than the 180 for a fully equipped 08 210 5.7!
'Guess I really do not have much room to b!tc4 about with canuks getting raped at local "retailers". Ahh but then in Austrailia you probably don't have a failing scocial infrastructure - plus you have the climate to enjoy boating minimum 4x what we do so I guess if you look at it that way 2x the cost is still a bargain!

They're pretty close: $32,999 AUD = $32,071 USD

You could get a herd of them and ship them the way we send our Jack Ups overseas.

I was surprised that the bayliner was priced higher than the four winns .When I was considering what to buy, someone in a post somewhere mentioned that the fiberglass in the bayliner was very thin plus the build quality on the four winns IMHO is notably better.
Speaking of the boat prices in Australia in real terms, has actually come down in recent years. Any way ,four months to go til the new boat arrives, not sure how many sleeps that works out to.
