How does the clear connector piece (as Four Winns call it) connect between the Bimini and the top of the windshield -- specifically how does it attach to the top of the windshield??

thx

Mine attaches to the bimini with zippers then it snaps to the windshield. I have snaps all the way around the top edge of the windshield frame to secure the front and side plastic pieces. Only problem with that is they are hard on my cockpit cover. They have already worn some holes.

Cincy --- the outer header piece on my windshield does not have any snaps -- only a long slot roughly a quarter inch wide

-- do the snaps fit in there through some attachment ????

thx

I believe the snaps do go into that grove. When I get my boat back on Friday I'll try and remember to take a pic. I recall that the snaps look a little different then the other ones but still seemed to screw into that slot.

Oh great, one more thing to worry about wearing through... Hmmm, maybe I'll make some sort of strip out of something flexible that provides some cushioning over those snaps.
