Has anyone found kits for these? Was told I need to buy a whole new ram since they don’t make a kit. I find that hard to believe

Yep, you find them on Ebay, prices for these over priced o-rings have come down since I bought them but their still kind of high considering what you get but better than buying new trim cylinders.

One problem I had rebuilding mine is that threads in the aluminum body where the hydraulic lines connect got boogered up and the lines could not be connected without re-tapping. Luckily, I have a machinist buddy that it did for me, I was afraid I would screw it up.

Also, the pin wrench that came with the kit was not sufficient for the job, again my buddy was able to make one for the job.

@noexcuses thanks for the info bud I was Hesitant to purchase one of those o-ring kits considering what they told me at the marine parts store. I appreciate the feedback and super happy I can rebuild it vs spending 500-700 for one trim ram.

What did they tell you at the parts store?

Rebuild is not hard and I found it strangely enjoyable. The cheap adjustable Harbor Freight spanner tool does suck though!
