Lou, the U-Joint Assy has the spline (that goes into the Gimbal Bearing)w yoke, 2 u-joints and then another spline that goes into the upper housing.

I am not sure what you mean by Rolling Torque. The U-Joint Assy should just go back in to the upper housing and is bolted in with a "Jesus" nut to the 1st gear.

Like this:

I bought item 1 which I am calling the U-Joint Assy and it came with item 4 which I am calling the "Jesus" Nut.

What I need to know how to do is get Item 4 out of your diagram:

Thanks,

See the sleeve, that is like a crush sleeve on a truck differential. The amount you tighten the bolt is what determines the preload on that bearing, this in turn determines rolling torque. I’d read the procedure for setting that before taking stuff apart.
One thing I do not like about Volvo is how they made the u joints non serviceable, this makes a simple repair much more complex and expensive. On tho older SXs just like the Cobra and Alpha you can just change the joints like people have done for decades. No so with this design
