| Post subject: | 2000 7.4gi Penta horizon 230 oil pressure? |
Hey guys I’ve notice when my big leans to one side the oil pressure drops and when I’m 3/4 the throttle the oil pressure fluctuates. Has anyone here with the 7.4gi had any oil pressure issues? |

Make sure your oil level is correct, the drop in OP may be oil sloshing away from the oil pick up. If the level is correct, you may have sludge blocking the pick up screen. Look under the valve covers, do you see a lot of sludged up oil there? If so you may need to pull the engine and clean out the oil pan and pump pick up screen. |
