Hello All,
I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. My name is Jerod and as the post title suggests, I just bought a 1986 Four Winns Horizon 190 that was meticulously cared for by it's previous owner. I will attempt to care for this boat with the same level of attention so I can enjoy it for many years to come and I'm thinking iFourWinns.com will be a great recource to help me keep my Horizon in ship shape. I was wondering if anyone has any owners manuals, or information I should know about this boat. Thanks guys.

Oh here are some pics

Thanks for reading, talk with you soon. -Jerod

Sweet. I got a 87 170. Was originally same colors. Looks like my boats twin when I got it. There is a generic owners manual. Not really our year but close as it gets. I rebuilt mine from the hull up so I know them pretty well.

I went from burgandy and ivory interior to red and white. Otherwise I kept it the same. Red boot stripes.

Congrats I love mine i know you will love it.

Edit: WD 40 cap with a piece of rubber in it. I put that over the vent when not in use keep rain and dew out of the tank. I forgot to take it off it made it all day boating once and to and from the dock on the freeway.

These older boats are very distinctive and its great to see them still being used and enjoyed. There is something to be said for simple designs and simple mechanicals. I plan to keep mine going as long as I can....

Thanks, yours looks brand new!
One nice thing about the older boats is the don’t have that molded in glass shrouding the engine and are much easier to work on for repairs and maintenance.

You are not kidding. I worked on my buddies newer boat wow what a nightmare in the engine compartment. I replaced the starter on mine. I did nothing. 2 wires and 2 bolts.
