The wheel on my 06 Horizon is starting to fall apart.

Can steering wheels be swapped easily? The 07+ Horizons have a nicer looking wheel IMO. Not sure if they're compatible or interchangeable.

Has anyone reupholstered their steering wheel?

I put a destroyer type wheel with a spinner knob on mine years ago. It takes a bit of finessing to get it off, a taper fit and Woodruff key if I recall. Greased mine up with Triple Guard grease in case I ever have to take it off again.

all those gauges are original and still work including the trim gauge.

Also there are paints that can be used to restore that, the company who makes them is SEM.

Good call, I didn't even think about that. I like the wheel because it fits with the rest of the interior. I'd hate to replace a nice OEM piece with something generic.

LouC- you are a real asset to us. My dealer had already told me several hundred dollars to replace the sad looking wheel on my 2007 H-240. Will try the SEM vinyl product as soon as boat comes out of winter shrink wrap.

Thanks! I’d practice on some scrap stuff to get used to spraying it. There are also people that restore these and auto wheels . I had the same thing on my 07 Jeep and just put a wheelskins cover on it, looks good enough.
