I have a 1995 220 Horizon with a 5.8l EFI (58FAPHUE). It is running the OMC Systematched Controls Part Number 175496. The Outdrive is the 1995 OMC Cobra 3868158. I have a shift cable giving me trouble and I need to replace it. I cannot find a part number. The Throttle Cable is a teleflex CC21414 but I've had no luck locating the shift cable part number. Going to replace them both since they are 25 years old. Anyone know what the part number is so I can get back on the water? Hard to boat with only forward gear. It keeps slipping in the control mount. Thanks, Shawn |

Since your OMC Cobra system was made during the Volvo/OMC joint venture you may be able to find this with Volvo Penta if not available from OMC. Have you looked in the Crowley Marine OMC parts catalog? Might be able to find it. |

A lot of the cables have the part # stenciled on the jacket |

I've located the part number on the throttle cable, I cannot find one on the shift cable at this point. I may not find it until it is removed, but I was hoping to have it ordered and ready to switch out. Thanks everyone. |

OK, I ripped into everything tonight and removed the shift cable. OF course they print the part number on a part of the cable that is covered by the out drive and protective sleeve so you can't read it until the cable is removed. So if anyone else out there is looking for this information. Throttle cable is Teleflex CC21414 (14') Shift cable is Teleflex CC21415 (15") Happy boating!!! 1995 Fourwinns 5.8L EFI. OUtdrive is a cobra but might as well say Volvo Penta SX |
