First off thanks for letting me join the forum!
Last year I picked up a 94' Horizon 180 that was in, what I considered, pretty good shape for it's age. I don't intend on putting a lot of money into the boat and still don't, just what needs to be done to keep it running well and healthy. I have changed the fluids twice since taking ownership as well as changed filters and plugs, as well I built a new dash to replace the old VDO setup.
I am wanting to rebuild the carburetor and was hoping someone can
verify this is the correct kit ? It is Holley part # 703-49 - Based off my boat service manuals the list number for the 2 BBl carbs on these 5.0 motors is 80382. The kit seems awfully basic and has me wondering if it will actually rebuild the carb or will I end up needing more parts (float, o-rings, jets) as I have plenty of experience with Quad and Dirtbike carbs this will be my first time working on an automotive style/marine carb.
Thanks in advance, I'll be sure to post up some photos of the dash I built and the boat itself.
