Post subject:  Possibly a new Horizon 190 in my future?

Hey guys I'm selling my Sea Doo XP PWC and looking very hard at a Horizon 190. I grew up spending time on my Grandpa's Sundowner 225 every summer, and think Four Winns is a great brand. I spent a TON of time at a dealer today looking over a 190 and 180. Kind of set on the 190. I'd like to get a boat that can fit in my garage, but at 19' deep I'm kind of limited. We measured it on the trailer with the tongue swung to the side and it looks like it will fit. The MSRP is just about $27K and he has it sale priced at $24K. How much lower do you think he can go? I'm also looking at a Larson 206 Sensa which lists at 34K and I can get it for 24K, but it for sure will be stored in my backyard, no chance of making it in the garage.

Any advice/tips/reviews on the 190 Horizon would be appriciated. I'm in Indianapolis, IN if any forum members live nearby!

We really like our 170 Freedom. Fits in the garage too with the wife's Honda. I don't believe you can go wrong here. As to the price, figure 20% off MSRP and you are getting a pretty good deal.

What motor is in the 190?

I just purchased last week here in memphis the 190 with sunsport interior, 190hp v-6, with bimini top cockpit and bow covers, etc. for 21,500. dealer had list price of 24,999 had about 3000 in upgrades I was out the door taxes, 3 years worth of registration for 23,500 total. But have been seeing them all over the country for 24000 or more I think he still has room to come down. Oh yeah also got some free skis thrown in too. If he can't come down on the price get them to throw in tons of extras. Tubes, skis ropes, anchor, etc. went out and spent 500.00 on life jackets, tubes etc. the nest day so whatever else you can get try.

If MSRP is 27K, I would expect him to get closer to 21K but not much better than that.
