Halls in Muskegon has a BEAUTIFUL Blue & Red 310 with twin big blocks. It is the 2007 photo boat. EVERY option including generator, flat screen, microwave, and the list goes on. Jim told me list is over $150K. They are selling for right about $100,000.

I can't believe a bowrider is $100K. Don't get me wrong, if I hit the lottery tonight I'm going to go pick it up, but wow. You can buy a house for that.

Back to the boat......incredible. Hopefully when/if I upgrade from my 260 in a few years they will have this boat discounted enough for us "normal" people to play. WOW!

I checked out a 310 at this year's boat show in KC. I fell in love. It's just what I need to be more comfortable while sitting in my boat out in the driveway.

At least you can get a nice nap in the day berth. It would be easy to camp on that's for sure.

Yeah, and if I brought one of those home that's exactly what I'd be doing.

Hey guys!
I was recently offered a H310 for 65K but the kicker is it was a 2005 or 2006 which they called H290 for that one transitional year. It was fully loaded but didn't have a trailer he said he would add a tri-axle aluminum for another $5K. I don't even remember the broker but it was some guy from down near Alabama that had my name from last year's "hunt". He told me it was a bank repossession that had been sitting all last year and this year and the bank wanted to get rid of it. He described it on the phone (Blue Hull, generator, Full camper enclosure, twin 6.0's? etc...) and fortunately I had enough sense to tell him I wasn't interested...at this time. A boat of this size would have to be constantly slipped and that just adds to the operating costs and is something I am not prepared to do right now. But... I too would consider the H310 if I had some more coin in my jeans.

There is also a H310 on Ebay for a starting bid of $75K I noticed in the last couple of days!

Oh to dream though!!!!!

The way Hall's has (not) been selling boats lately, that 310 might just be there when you are ready Dave.

Keep your money in your pockets for now, later this year when FW releases the new SL282, I think you guys will be amazed at what it offers.

Talking to Harold and Jim they have been moving BIG boats. Vistas are moving well. If you want an 180 or 200, they've got a ton of them. I'm anxious to see the 282. I don't care for the 262 so much. Harold said I have to drive one to appreciate it. Maybe in the spring...

A SL 282 Really ????

I commented way back that I was going to hold out for a SL282 because I didn't like the fact that they had included the swimplatform in the LOA and I wanted atleast as much room as my H260 has in the cockpit. I thought they had just crammed the rear seating too far forward for my liking. I can't wait to lay my eyes on this baby!

Cap'n got any references to where you read or saw this epiphany?

I too thought of a "nice" comment for Mike but deferred my response! Thanks for keeping up the pressure Brent! Someday Mike will report that he used his boat for two days in a row and will have racked up 10 hours (in two days) as some of us "real" boaters do!!!

Got your back, Brent

Man, it's hard to throw together two days in a row when all the lakes in your region are so high you can't get to them.

A "little birdie" told me about the SL282 earlier this summer, and there was also mention of it in a recent article on Boattest. You may get a glimpse of the SL282 later this year, but formal intro should be after the first of the year.FW just introduced the new SL222 at the Southhampton show this past week. It's the little brother to the SL242, and has some nice features and hull design for a 22 footer.

The pic was taken on Torch Lake in northern michigan this summer.

Mike, I'll think of you EVERYDAY for the next 8 while I am on my boat... Maybe even have a toast to you. How about every night at 6:43 you go sit in your boat and think of us on the water this week. :)
