Hello all. The 230 (2000) I just bought appears to have the VDO cluster fix with a new ground wire but they attached it to the negative side of the fuse panel instead of taking it to the battery like instructed here:http://www.sso-usa.com/marine/TechnicalSupport/pdf/Bulletins/Manuals/VDOClusterManual2000.pdf Under the instrument cluster, there is a black cable that disappears at the bulkhead where your left foot would be during operation. Does anyone know if this is the conduit the Four Winns refers to in it specs? I'm hoping to use this to fish the cluster ground wire to the battery. Any better ideas? Thanks.

Get right down inside your ski locker and you will see th wire is running between the floor deck and hull. You should be able to get a fish tape from front to back so you can pull a wire through.
