Boy i made a stupid decision at the beginning of the Summer and traded off my 1995 Horizon on a 267 LS Caravelle, did i say stupid decision just wanted to clarify that any way after 3trips out in the New piece of Crapavelle we had several problems to many to list. Anyway i had to take the boat to a dealership to get it loaded on to Semi to send back to Manufacturer to get some repairs done. They set me up with a dealership (just happened to be a Four Winns Dealer) and i had boat traded before they even got it loaded. LOL So i am the proud new owner of an H310 so it is going to be a Very LONG SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Image

We boat on Kentucky lake around Paris TN. Its not a dry county down at that end so we can party and there are Bars on the Water. We have never been to Lake of the Ozarks but may happen next summer. I am already putting back money and scheduling a trip to the Keys in FL launch and take boat all the way to the Bahamas. But that all depends on mow much money i can save LOL with buying new toys for boat too.LOL

Man i tell ya for that last two days all i have done is stare at the pic that is on the forum drueling all over myself, my wife say its going to be burnt into screen on my laptop. So i told her its either let me look at my new boat or she would have to entertain me LOL so she said i could keep staring at pics LOL. If there is anyone on here that boats at KY Lake shoot me a line maybe we can meet up next summer or plan a Four Winns Rally at Fat Daddy's Bar in Paris TN.

Nice looking boat. I haven't made it up to Kentucky Lake yet. I boat just upstream (but South) at Pickwick Lake.

Wow! Beautiful boat! Congratulations, I believe you are the first H310 owner on the forum. We all have lusted over those beauties. That would be an excellent boat for Lake Ontario! My H260 handles the water conditions here but that big baby sure would cut through the big 5 footers.
I do have a little bit of advice though; be careful when you are loading onto that tri-axle aluminum I-beam trailer. I helped a friend of mine this Fall load a 30' Baja on the same trailer and the trailer would float! The conditions were not ideal and we had a hell of a time getting it lined up. I would recommend you add some guide posts so you have something to judge your approach by.

Again, Congratulations and welcome aboard!

Nice ride, I think my wife an I looked your boat during a thanksgiving visit to my folks. They live just past Ryan Marine out at Blood River. Just a heads up; I know they are under new ownership or management or something, but be careful if Greg Lee is still there. I bought a boat from him in the past and had a number of issues with him and the boat. He has a reputation of being a little shifty.

Havent been on here in a while but hey appreciate the info but that guy is not there anymore the only 2 salesman i know are there is Ryan the owner and Micheal Larkins. They have taken really good care of me and i have no complaints. Got a good boat, good price, and they made me feel really good about my purchase. LOL But thats what a good salesman is supposed to do right. Anyway thanks for the compliment on my new boat. Have a great winter looking forward to getting it in the water i havent even got to see it float yet so i wont brag on my deal to much. LOL Take care

Very nice boat, congrats. Have you researched the Bahamas trip? Weather is a big thing. West palm is the launch point for West end. Ft Lauderdale for Bimini. The Keys are too far of a hop for you I'm afraid. You also have to be very careful of the weather. Hitting a window can be hard and getting stuck over there til the weather does play nice is rather common. Weather will have to be chosen carefully in using a open bow boat to transverse the Gulf Stream. There are plenty of "groups" that will go over. Travel to and from has dropped off in the last few years, especially after the Bahamian government increased the entry fee.

We haven't made it yet. There are great cruising grounds without the passport, entry fee, and homeland security crap of the Bahamas. You might want to consider the Ft Myers area as an option. The west coast is great from the panhandle to the keys.

I hate this thread. It makes me feel.......inferior......I need a hug....or 5 more feet and another engine.

Everytime I look at that 310 I fall inlove again. What a great boat.

Dave
I think "hate" is a strong word.... Just admit it as it is .. your plain JEALOUS! (that is a much less harsher way of putting it)

I too long for those extra feet but todays economics say "NO WAY" and so also does the wife!
When I analyze reality - average 50 hours per year, slippage costs (no slip currently), on the water fuel costs. That boat is way too rich of an investment (loss?) for me.

But if the lottery ever came knocking....
