Hi all,
I have an 08 H190 I have 2 questions on the bow filler cushion. #1 How much are they roughly & #2 where do you store them while on the water if you want to access the bow area not crawling on them? 15F here not exactly Ideal boating weather eh!

I have yet to ever use mine so mostly they stay in the basement at home. If I did take them with me they will fit in my bow storage under the seats.

Mine stay on the shelve in the garage. Same for the back fill-in cushions.

Actually, my bow fillers fit in the storage under the bow seats, but I never use them. Why carry the weight and/or take up the room.

Mine take up most of the storage under the bow seats, and they've only been used a couple of times. Yet, for some reason I'm glad I have them.

They cost about 1,000 times as much as they're worth, however.

I am struggling with this myself. I feel like I want them on my boat. I also think that if I did have them, they would stay installed, not stowed. Any particular reason you DONT like them installed?

Unless someone is sitting on them, the cushions are likely to come loose and possibly blow out. They aren't held in by anything (unless they've changed the design lately). It's hard for me to imagine anyone leaving them in place all the time.

I just ordered them for my 07 H180-one is $77.35 and the other is $84.00 (Can.dollars).I would ASSume they are approximately the same price for a 190,yours will just be alittle bigger.I am not sure about the storage issue,I hope they fit under the bow seats.My daughters were the ones that wanted them. :mrgreen:

My old H200 had some straps below the helm and passenger seating area to stow them.

We too very rarely used them and you wouldn't leave them in because they impede traffic to the bow and the front cleats! It's quicker to walk rather than have to crawl cautiously so you don't dislodge them and you and them end up on the floor!

Ithink St. Louis Dave might have used them when he was "creating" his kid :shock: but he was taking his chances!!!! :lol:

How is the expectant Mom doing? And you? Has your beer consumption gone up yet? It should peak about two weeks before "the reality" kicks in (or pushes out).... Then it will diminish to near nothing while your body will crave nothing but sleep....

I couldn't tell you what they cost, but they get used alot! Sometimes I wonder why I take them out. When not in use, they are stored in the stbd "trap door".

I had ordered them with my boat, they finally showed up last week and i will be installing them, i can see what people are saying about bow access but as a big guy, 6"4 or 194cm and 110kg i would like more than one but cheek on the seat. i think they will be good, the kids are always in the bow and it will be better for them. i will let you know down the track how my success goes as far as usage. i think it is better to have the choice for such a small price in the grand scheme of things. anyway, its a good gimmick if you ever go to sell the thing. :D

Thanks for all the responses/replies, I thought that the bow fill-in was a one piece cushion.The reason I'm thinking about it is, Because we have standard seating & the Mrs loves to "makeup" her bed & sun on the aft part. Fishing sucks off the Bow :evil: Just not as easy to use tackle box & rod holders are along stern along the( gunnell isn't that what the upper sides are called on a boat?) Hate to get carpet dirty! BUT she LOVES the sun & to relax, She does love the boat that's why we bought a new one after 1 season of trying it W/used one!!! :lol: I'm thinking if IF I can get her the comfort & exposure she likes It's worth the $$ so I can enjoy fishing from the stern. I don't catch alot BUT I like the thought I will!! :mrgreen:

P.S. I wish I could afford a BIGGER BOAT & I never EVER thought I own a boat :shock: :shock:

Ours is one piece and it is big. I can fit it in the head or the storage compartment in front of the helm but it takes up a lot of room. I leave it at home most of the time. But when our kids get a little older I will make sure to take it with us as I know they will love that area to hang out in.

That is a great idea! I'm going to have to check my boat to see if they will fit there. I keep mine at home in the closet, along with the rear seats. They are just too much of a pain to keep in the boat.
