Cincy - I couldn't recall you ever posting pictures of your new boat. I looked through quite a few old posts, would you mind posting some pictures of the current ride?

Hmm, that could be because I never got a new one!

I was firmly committed to getting something to comfortably sleep on this year but was so torn over the large cuddy (like a Chap 275) or a pocket cruiser I just couldn't decide. Then, my finance and I decided to get a new house this summer so I've been focused on selling mine. My boat shopping is on hold until next summer when I think I'm going to a mid-sized cruiser. My buddy, Sunday Dinner, just pushed me over the edge with his new 258 Vista purchase. I saw a Sea Ray 260 on ebay from a recent posting and just drooled all over my keyboard.

So, that's where I'm at! Thanks for asking. :D

Put some thought into a 278... that's a quality pocket cruiser that (in my opinion) has more luxury and value than a 260.

The 260 is like a Camry - everyone has those things.

Good eye Cincy. That 260 is a very nice boat. The 278 is an option as well, but you will have a hard time finding a 278 of that year priced like that 260DA . There are quite a few 260DA's out there, and that is an advantage as far as parts and service goes down the road.
Good Luck in your search.

That was the first thing I noticed, i.e., seemed like a lot of boat with newer styling and amenities for the money. $57k delivered? I'd seriously consider that if I was in the market. But I'll probably hold out for one with a genset when the time comes.

Ok, how about some shots of the current boat. I love the color/lines of your current boat.

That "current boat" is going to be THE 260 to buy when the time comes.

I can tell you, when Cincy's 260 goes up (and it will after one night in my air conditioned cabin with the stereo, microwave, and tv going), it will be THE boat to get into if you're in the market. The stereo, leds, updated carpet, and ridiculous maintenance schedule that Cincy maintains make it a damn nice boat.

I loved my 260DA and can offer lots of insight before anyone gets serious. It definitely has certain characteristics a potential buyer should be aware of.

Sierra- I'd love to hear some good/bad on that boat. Love the color combo. I'm going to get serious about making the trade up next spring which means I need to start researching now!

That is just one hell of a good looking boat! Thanks for sharing. It's a shame I won't be in the market for a 06 260 next spring. Echoing what Mike said someone is going to get an awsome boat.
