We live in Florida and are just about settled on purchasing a 310. We chose this boat as we need a boat that can make the 48 mile trip to Bimini as well as a weekend boat to go wakeboarding, snorkeling, etc.

What do those who have the boat think about it? Have you wakeboarded behind it yet? Is the maintenance on it fairly easy? Any options you wish you would have gotten or any you got that you wish you did not get?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

:D

I hope you have lots of $$$$$$ for fuel in that boat if you are planning on using it for water sports !!! It will be ideal for those trips out to bimini but water sports won't be it's strong point. The fuel used for all the getting up and going each time somebody falls down is going to be tremendous. I believe both Flying Sushi and St. Louis Dave have commented previously on how expensive there boats were to operate while pulling tubers and skiers.

I would not hesitate to buy the boat but would invest the gas money in finding a buddy with a smaller boat to pull people around with.

I agree on gas cost but our 08 310 is very powerful. So if you want to pull 2 skiers you can. The wake she throws is big so the skier needs to be strong to handle the it.
When buying this boat I allocated money for gas so don't look when you start pumping.LOL

Ours is loaded. We have every option except flexi teek. I also had installed a Raymarine unit-Radar, GPS, sounder.

Very stable in the ocean. We have traveled around NYC which involved a 6 hour all day trip. Great fun. The bimini top keeps the sun out. But if the weather changes a bowrider does not offer good protection from breaking waves.
It can get cold too.

Otherwise enjoy.

Oh man are you in for a treat we took ours out this last Sat. 04/04/09 and we loved it!!!! Only problem was that i went to gas station to get fill it up and after about 40 secs the gas was shooting out drenched the poor guy on the other side of pump and tried a few more time kept running out so i thought it was full. But it wasnt made about 5 miles from marina and out of gas. The bad part is i even looked at fuel gauge when we launched showed on E and i assumed it wasnt working so was gonna put that on the list to tell dealer let me clarify that was the start of my list. Anyway got towed in took about 45 mins to fill up and we were gone again not a lick of trouble since so that list i mentioned it went a way too since the gas gauge was the only thing on it. LOL Everyone take care enjoy your summer and be safe. And if anyone boats around Paris TN. swing by Buchanans Resort ask for ole Mayor Dick thats what they call me i have a cold one waiting on ya!!
