my horizon 180 states..."8 persons or 1200 lbs. Now if I add a 800 lb tower...won't that take my capacity down to 400 lbs?

I would think so, but I'm not certain.

The 1200 / 8 person is based on a 150 lb person. With capacity weight down to 400 lbs you're down to a about 2.5 people. :shock:

Call FW and ask. The determination could have been made with the optional tower installed. Therefore, your plenty safe.

What is the tower made out of if it weighs 800lbs?

Monster Tower shows a shipping weight of 60lbs.
