I would think so, but I'm not certain.
The 1200 / 8 person is based on a 150 lb person. With capacity weight down to 400 lbs you're down to a about 2.5 people.

my horizon 180 states..."8 persons or 1200 lbs. Now if I add a 800 lb tower...won't that take my capacity down to 400 lbs? |

Call FW and ask. The determination could have been made with the optional tower installed. Therefore, your plenty safe. |

What is the tower made out of if it weighs 800lbs? Monster Tower shows a shipping weight of 60lbs. |
