Post subject:  My first 3 mods.

Well got some time on my boat this week between the rain. Unfortunately she won't be getting wet this weekend.(work always gets in the way of my fun). But I did get 303 on all the vinyl surfaces. I also got my first 3 modifications completed.

The first was to install the Ipod controller. With the help of this thread. http://www.smwebhead.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2336

The next was the install of my Pro Sport Pro Mariner 12Image I installed it on a bulkhead on the port side just to the stern of the batteries. I can open the transom hatch and plug it in.

And finally I replaced the cockpit speakers with the JL speakers I bought. Sounds better I can't wait to get the amp installed though.

Today I'll put the registration numbers on.

Sorry no pictures. Honestly it's not that exciting. But if anybody needs some I can get some "after" pictures.

Well your wasting no time in making it yours!

Are you going to name her?

Take some pics of your battery charger install, if you don't mind. That something I'm actually thinking of doing. Why did you go with the one you got? I can't remember if you store at home or not, but I don't. My boats normally at the house either for a few hours before we go out, or the night before. Thats the only time she would be able to be plugged in.

Here are the pics. Nothing spectacular and it was getting dark so it might be hard to see.

This is looking towards the stern on the port transom compartment. That bulkhead closes off the engine compartment and protects the through hull exhaust system.

Here is that compartment from the stern. You can see the cord and the charger is mounted in between the batteries and the bulkhead.
