Hi all... just an fyi. Found the source of annoying rattle under the dash of our 230. Wanted to let everyone know in case you hear it too. The screw for the aluminum bracket that supports the dash is coming loose. It's the one into the bulkhead. It wasn't particularly easy to locate because it only occurred on plane at about 30mph in a mild chop. With my wife driving I tucked my head underneath (not the safest thing to be doing, but it was driving me absolutely crazy) and felt around on everything until I discovered it. I have to dig into it more tomorrow now that we have her back home, but the screw is definitely loose, and the fiberglass behind it is slightly cracked around the screw hole. I doubt it has a backplate, but will let you know when I open up the back inside the front storage locker.

Well done, i had a rattle as well took me some time to locate it, it was the two piece SS windscreen support struts, they screw together, unscrewed them filled them with costruction adhesive, rattle gone.

Hmm.. Thx...another one to look out for. Turns out I wasn't able to tighten the two screws at the top of the bracket...they are only reachable by a short screwdriver, and with all the wiring in the way, I couldn't get enough leverage --- they are already tight, but lstill eave some play that resulted in the rattle... nothing a little silicone couldn't fix.....
