Picked her up from storage in Holland and dunked her in Lake Macatawa and went out to the big lake. Nice and smooth. Took a quick run down to the Kzoo river and into Sagutuck and then back out for some high speed runs on the big lake. GPS at 51.4. Not sure if the K&N will fit. My rear seat is going to be close...

My buddy driving my boat in the river. It's nice to sit in the back once and a while.

Looks like that was fun!

I am hoping to do so splashing tomorrow. I spent the morning getting the batteries in and then it started to rain :(

Some nice weather here in W. Michigan lately. I helped my BIL take his Carver 356 from Muskegon to Grand Haven thursday afternoon. Nice ride on Lake Michigan, and we were the only boat out there. We launched ours Friday morning, went for a ride and then spent the night on the boat . Great start to the season so far.

Not in yet but I started er up after the long winter sleep, cranked it over once, twice and it started right up, amid a cloud of fogging oil smoke. Nice to hear the inboard exhaust sound in the driveway! Have to do a tune up, buff out the hull and then get the bottom painted.

Dave

I got mine in on Sunday afternoon. Got another hour on the meter! I had no isssues like last year! It's amazing how quickly you learn when a simple mistake costs you $1000 and a month of prime boating seaon. yesterday we had: 42 F water temp, air temp no more tha 55F, windy as hell with 1 1/2 foot chop but we were still able to make a couple of 50 mph (speedo) runs. Now I need to get to work cleaning and scrubbing.

Saturday was calm and 70 degrees when we went out.

Only 5 boats total in our marina so far.

Sunday it was low 50's and rain. Things sure change fast in Michigan. But we
are looking forward to this coming weekend when it will be close to 70 again.
