Almost 8 months to the day from the initial ordering, we took delivery of our H180 3.0 merc. Last night I only managed about 5 hours sleep due to the excitement of picking up the new boat. As I type this thread I find myself pinching myself that I have just bought a new boat.(this is something I have always wanted to do) I have spent nearly all day playing, exploring, storing safety gear etc etc. Not to mention showing it of to neighbors friends etc. Anyway I took a few photos for fear of being linched for not posting any on this forum. Next weekend is a long weekend here in Australia so the new boat gets its first outing, so some more photos will follow.
Here she is
King for a day (well it felt like it to me)

On a side note a big thank you for all on this forum who have answered all my questions, which has helped me get to this day

Great pics Ardy. She looks nice! He had a 2001 Freedom 170. One little tip... the bolt on swim steps on the transom can be fun, at least on the 170. O found out by accident one time that if you come down off plane and turn to starboard a bit, the swim ladder will catch the water a spray the person sitting in the rear starboard seat. Found out by accident. My 12 yr old was complaining he was "hot" and I took advantage and "cooled" him off with a tad bit of lake water.

If you need anything, I have shipped to Australia before. Last was a Standard Horizon chart plotter and chip for all of Australian waters. I know from talking with my customer that finding and getting somethings at reasonable prices can be difficult at times.

We are all anxious to see some more pics

Your boat looks great. Take lots of pictures when you are out. Because our temps right now are 0. I love to see beautiful weather again. Can't wait till we have nice weather to get on our baby. Can't wait to see her in her new dock.

Nice Ardy!

Great to see that paint job turned out as well as it did!

Now -where's some warm-weather pictures? Everyone around the states is in the middle of winter,

Congratulations Ardy!

It has been a long wait and I hope you don't regret any of it! I hope you get to enjoy many hours on her this summer. Please take and post lots of pictures so we can all daydream about our own future fun on the water when our summer hits!

Very nice! We are all going to live through you for the next 3-4 months, so make sure you get as many pics as you can of you doing anything with the boat and/or open water in the background.

Congrats! It was worth the wait...for all of us.
