Hello Fellow Boaters, I have a question regarding storage/mooring covers. I feel like I need more than just the cockpit and bow cover to protect my boat when it's not winterized and shrink wrapped. Our local canvas shop does a great job on custom covers(10oz Sunbrella) that are tie down and cut-out around my tower, which would obviously provide a great deal more protection, the down-side is they charge $1140. My wife thinks this is unnecessary and believes most owners don't use them. Not that your responses would necessarily mean I wouldn't go ahead and get one but would help if I were correct in assuming some use them. My boat sits outside from mid-May thru mid-September.
