I need to replace the impellor on my 04 H230. I think I have the correct part number but there seems to be some newer and older versions out there. Can someone confirm if I am looking for the correct part and what it should cost? 2004 VP 5.7GI SX engine. I think this is the correct #... Part # 3842786 What have people been paying for this? Thanks |

I could not track that number back to the pump I think you have in your boat, although it does say it is an impeller kit. I use the iboats site which is a Volvo Penta derived list for parts. (Doug Russell is OK as well as MarinepartsExpress, but I find the iboats site more complete) I have a 2003 Four winns 240H with the 5.7L Gi C engine (there is a code after the 5.7Gi) I think you need the 3862567 Impeller kit -- ****PLEASE SOMEONE ELSE VERIFY THAT **** They run about $45-50 online and about $60-65 at the Four Winns dealer near me. |

I'm pretty sure you want #3862567, which is the kit with new seals & lube. Before you order, have you checked to be sure you have the right anodes? |

I have not checked the anodes at all... What are the indicators I have the correct ones? It's been a fresh water boat but it did sit in the water all summer with the previous owner.... I wll keep it on the trailer so not much corrosion should happen when I own it. Chris |

This site might also be helpful to confirm part #'s: http://www.volvopentastore.com/ I see 3 different impeller part #'s that will work on my boat. Probably the same impeller with different #'s. |

Mg (Magnesium) - Mostly fresh water Zn (Zinc) - Mostly salt water Al (Aluminum) - Brackish water, also a compromise between the other two - this is what usually comes from the factory and almost always should be replaced. |
