Hey guys,

We just got a holdover 2008 H310 for a great price. I am so happy with the boat so far.

We got the Volvo 5.0 GXI engines.

I do have a couple questions:

What is the best book or resource on detailed instructions for oil changes, impeller changes, etc. ?

What is the best place to buy parts and accessories. For example we have the bimini top but were looking for a price for the the camper package.

Thank you so much!

I use http://www.marinepartsexpress.com for engine parts/ picture breakdowns. Or here is a helpful link also. http://www.volvopentastore.com/5_0GXi_G ... _id.342554

I have the same engine so if you need any help feel free to ask. Not sure how to help you with the camper canvas.

Welcome aboard!

This site is a GREAT place to learn and several of us (including myself) do some or all of our own maintenance. Changing impellers are the 5.0Gxi is simple...at least in my boat.

Welcome. You can try these guys for canvas, or a local canvas shop which can have your boat on site to get exact measurements and fit.

+1 on Winnisquam for parts and accessories from the factory.

For servicing... plan on a 25 hour for the liquids and then once a year. Plan on the impeller every 2-3 years, but some change it every year. It's cheap insurance. If you use your boat year round, in pretty clean waters -- 2-3 years. Muddy water or storage for long periods of time, I'd go yearly.

Make sure your zincs are right for your boating area. They ship standard with aluminum.
