Well got the boat out Saturday and everything ran great except the radio which was dead.

I checked the fuse in the fuse box area and the fuse on the back of the radio and both looked OK.

Any other suggestions out there. I have yet to see if there is 12V on the line but will do that tonight. Is there another fuse inside the radio?

Thanks.

If the radio has the removeable front make sure it is on correctly

There very well may be fuses inside the head unit, but I'd check everything else first.

Learn to live with it!
My head unit works whenever it feels like it. I don't know if it's heat or moisture related but it pisses me off every time. I need to replace the head unit! I've checked everything without any rhyme or reason for the failure.

THanks everyone. I had 12 V inside the connector when I grabbed a chasis ground so I thought I was OK.

ONce I checked the ground inside the connector I saw it was open and traced it back to a loose lead near the fuse box.

Back in business. Thanks.
