Well I bought my first Horizon 240. Love the layout. I bought this as a repo. It was missing a few things. Does anyone konw the size of the on board cooler under the seat? Im thinking I can get one online somewere.

Thanks John

Welcome Aboard!

Congratulations on your purchase I am sure you will have a great summer!

The cooler should be a 36 Quart unit (Igloo marine I think). But be careful (if you go aftermarket)---it needs to have a lift off top (if it gets dropped into place as opposed to pulled out on a shelf). On my 2001 H260 I had to cut the handles off an old cooler I had to make it work.

Nice choice, the layout sold me too. :D I have seen the coolers at Walmart 36Q marine from Igloo.

Congratulations! I, too, bought my first Four Winns recently -- although it doesn't get wet until the middle of May.

My cooler was also replaced, and it was a 36 Quart Igloo.

Here's the link to the Four Winns parts catalog. I've found it invaluable for finding replacement parts from vendors other than Four Winns dealers. I just ordered a replacement faucet and transom shower.

By the way, I replaced my old chrome Scandvik faucet with the same model in white for $53. I found it in Scandvik Marine's Surplus Inventory section and it's half the price of a new one.

If anyone needs one, check the Surplus Inventory section: http://www.scandvik.com/index.cfm/method/Shopping_faucets.htm

Again, congratulations and good luck.

Kevin
