I envy you for having a friend with a similar boat to hangout with that must be awesome! I had a friend like that but I raced him with some of his friends onboard and beat him and that was the end of that.

Not just a friend, thats my fathers boat. I've grown up running the red one since he bought it in 1989. We had such great luck with it, I bought the same brand for my family

Boats like that '89 are what got me interested in Four Winns.
It just took me a while to get one.

Nice, the 89 has almost the same color scheme as my old 88. Mine had the three tone gelcoat. White topsides, grey stripe above the rubrail and red/burgundy from the rub rail down. Unfortunately the gel oxidized badly and I would up getting the burgundy and grey painted in red Imron and having the topsides buffed out so it looks good now.

We had a Bayliner before the 89 Four Winns. Made it one year me traded it for this one. I do think the fit and finish of that boat is a little superior to my '02. The boat Has lives in a garage all it's life. Our lake does not allow boats to stay on it overnight. Our garage has doors on each end to drive in and right back out the next morning. Which is why it looks the way it does, even the tarps are still original.
