Ive been having some issues with my 3.0l, it won't idle in gear until it warms up, so ive been sitting at boat ramps waiting for it to warm up. Is this normal?

No it's not normal. Since it's a new boat it may be time to bring it back to the dealer to check it out or if you can live with it for a while bring it back and let him know about it when you take it back for your 20 hour checkout this fall.

I had an issue earlier this year on my new 210 H. The dealer finally discovered a piece of debris which had lodged itself into the needle in the carb. Not sure if you have the fuel injected or carb engine.

I will tell you that I still allow about a 5 min warmup for mine even now. That is what the manual says, and I find that it performs better. If start it cold, and put it in gear, it will putter out. There is usually an extra 5 min anyway at the start of day as you stow the cooler, canvas, etc.
