The windshield on mine clears the garage door by about an inch...
This was a critical factor when I bought the boat - it had to fit the garage.

I notice in aguyindallas' avatar his boat in the driveway. It looks like a standard 7' high door. My question for him or anyone else with the same setup, will the boat fit in the garage? Dennis |

My H200 fits in my garage with no problems. It's a 24x24 garage with a 16x7 door. I am able to keep it straight in with the outdrive up, if I had a bimini top, it would have to be down. I have a single axel trailer with detachable tounge which has to be removed. I have plenty of room to park a vehicle as well. It might be tight with an extended swim platform, but I think it would still fit. I can't back in with the cockpit canvas on as the support pole is too high, but otherwise a perfect fit. It fits better than my 86 H190 which didn't have a removable trailer tongue. |

Mine does fit in my garage. Keep in mind, my garage is 25' deep. The boat is 6'3" on the trailer according to Four Winns. It fits great. I have about 2 feet behind it and nearly the same in front of it with the door closed. Its great to have it at home because I can tinker with it whenever I want and I have all my tools there. |

I have a standard 16x7 garage door also. I haven't tried to put it in the garage yet, still cleaning it out but that's another story. Currently I back up to the door and put a cover over it. One thing I am certain is it will not go in while attached to the tow vehicle. I measure 7'6" while still hooked up. The door measures 6'9". I thought maybe the SS model had a lower profile window. Mine is a 2006 220 Horizon. I have enough Gilligan in me to think the lawn mower might be my answer. -Dennis |

If your garage floor is level, you could always lower the tongue then push your boat into your garage so the windshield clears the opening height then raise it back it. Unfortunately, my H220 is about 6" taller than my garage opening so I have to store my boat in a storage facility (and my garage floor is at a pretty steep inclinde). I wish I would have gone with the H210 or H200 but it's too late now! |

Yes, my driveway,garage is level. When hooked up to the truck it would be impossible to back in height wise. Once off the truck, lowering the jack I doubt I could push that boat ( 220 ) with the tongue jack. That is why I asked if the SS Horizons had a lower profile window? |

Pretty much the same setup, but it sits in one bay of my 4 car garage with the same size door. My 200 clears the doors pretty easily on the way in and gives me enough room to walk around the front. I do sometimes manhandle the trailer to get the fit just right, but even on my flat floor it can be a challenge. I saw one of these a few weeks ago and I'm absolutely going to buy it. 08 H210 with the standard tower (not the foward leaning arch) and tandem axle FW trailer. Std 7'h x 10'w door. I had to take the tower off and use a 3" drop drawbar to lower the trailer tongue with a 2500 GMC. The windshield cleared by a few inches but the little "bumps" on the side bars where the tower mounts only cleared by an inch maybe 2. My drive slopes up to the garage door a bit as well so the hitch point would have been a fair bit lower than level. The windshield top is quite a ways ahead of the trailer wheels so if your door height is going to be tight get your hitch as low as you can - just remember to get your kit level or higher once inside so you can allow any left over water to trickle out rather than sitting in the bilge getting funky. |

These are the standard windshield specs, but here's the difference in height on the trailer(From FW site): 200: Total Height on Trailer 6'8" / 2.03 m 210: Total Height on Trailer 7'1" / 2.16 m 220: Total Height on Trailer 7'3" / 2.21 m |

I haven't tried but my Tahoe fits by like 2 in so I'm 99% sure my boat is too tall. I'm sure it is a std 7' door and my boat is 7'3" per the previous post. |

The original Fulton 1500-lb jack (# XP15W) finally fully froze up & I also broke the gears trying to get it to budge (then, due to using a floor jack to get the tongue up and on the truck .... forgot to lift the jack and pretty much ripped the pin out of the hole). So, at about $70 to $80 for a replacement vs $95 for the F2 ($110 at West Marine, then a $15-off coupon) ...... I opted for the "replace it once .... forever" idea of the F2, even though it is not a direct bolt-on. I'll have to adapt it to the FW trailer as it is not readily boxed to mount to a 3" x 5" tongue (different mounting plate), but it certainly is way cool and worth it. |
