Post subject:  Impeller for a 97 4.3 Gi
Well I almost fried the ol'girl today, found out the hard way that my impeller is dryrotted. My question: where is the best place to buy one, also I can't seem to find the one I need. All I can tell you is it's a 18.5' 97 horizon rx with the 4.3 Gi, I can make out 8259 (the first four #'s) on the impeller itself the rest is somewhere inside the motor.

Thanks! So would this be my boat (4.3LX (GEN +) (2 BBL.) GM 262 V-6 1996-1997)

The pump in the pic doesn't look exactly like mine idk.
Sorry I'm a noob to the boat scene, I got the boat for free after all :D

And off topic, would switching to a 4 barrel carb do me any good in any way? Now is the 4.3 the "same" one used in the older chevy s10? sorry guys!
