You could splice a fitting in to the line feeding the raw ater pump but that owuld intail running the hose tothe engine space. There are flush kits that put a connection on the transom. Some allow you to run the engine while using the flush, others don't.

Are you really looking foir an easier way to flush the motor?

No I just want to test some work I did on my starter and relay without going out to the lake.If the only way to keep the motor cool is with the muffs then I will buy some ,just looking for alternate ways.

Muffs will be the cheapest and easiest way. If you do some of your own work such as oil changes and raw water impeller changes you will need a way to run the boat on land.
