This may be a lame question but is there a way to hookup a hose to coolthe engine without using muffs?98 four winns |

You could splice a fitting in to the line feeding the raw ater pump but that owuld intail running the hose tothe engine space. There are flush kits that put a connection on the transom. Some allow you to run the engine while using the flush, others don't. Are you really looking foir an easier way to flush the motor? |

No I just want to test some work I did on my starter and relay without going out to the lake.If the only way to keep the motor cool is with the muffs then I will buy some ,just looking for alternate ways. |

Muffs will be the cheapest and easiest way. If you do some of your own work such as oil changes and raw water impeller changes you will need a way to run the boat on land. |
