My 98 4.3 will not idle and I was wondering if there is an adjustment screw or something for the a/f ratio at idle? Or would this be a another problem all together?

Thanks

Rebuild ehh, I've never touched a carb in my life, now EFI systems I know like the back of my hand but Carbs are foreign to me. Think I could tackle this myself?

There should be an idle screw somewhere. On my 2bbl Holley on a 5.0
Volvo penta it's on the bottom back right, if that makes any sense.
You can probably turn it by hand. Worth trying before a rebuild.

If it has idled just fine and it now seems to require adjustment, then it should be rebuilt IMHO.

Rebuild- it would be a lot easier to have someone else do it.
