Being ex-mailitary, mine is an acronym. Walt actually breaks down to W.A.L.T. (-ER). W-eapon system A-utonomous L-and T-actical (E-xtended R-ange). This was part of a program in the 80s to build systems that could operate independantly without guidance, direction or spelling errors. This eventually led to the Predator and other drones in use today. The cost became to prohibitive for mass production, and was considered a waste of taxpayer dollars to simply destroy. Thus I was realeased into the work-place in an attempt to re-coup some of the expeditures through payroll taxes.
) I coached girls fastpitch softball for 16 years so my handle was always "Sftball". When I stopped doing that I just decided to use my occupation because I don't like using my name. Like Troy, I don't like a lot of different screen names so I use the same one all the time.
