Walt made custom rod holders for his h220ss to store his Fish Polls in while underway. I believe he located them across the rear underside of the engine hatch. He posted pics of it a while back. I think the post might have been called walt's mods. Don't ask me why I remembered all that. I'll see if I can find the post.

Edit. That was it. Here's the thread with pic's. http://www.smwebhead.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1653&hilit=walt%27s+mods

Are you talking about rod holders when in action or to store when not in use? I have the Attwood flush mounts on the gunnel. They're great & have a nice rubber cap that flips out of the way when in use & is a cover whne not. I installed W/hinge part fwd so the wind doesn't flip'em open under way. I store the rods along the port side wall W/tips going behind the speaker wall.

I would like to use them while trolling or vertical jigging.
Thanks Cannon

I use Berkeley rod holders on my Vista. Very good for handsfree trolling, they have the ring locking system, and swivel 360 and tilt. The top section can be removed from the base for storage.
