I have a 2006 H210 and need to pick up a couple spare plugs. Are these regular brass pipe plugs??? |

Not sure if they are brass; in salt water, brass would dezincify and get very weak (and pink!). From the colour of the plug on mine I think it and the bit it screws into are actually bronze, which doesn't suffer from dezincification. Graham |

Brass is copper and zinc and bronze is copper and tin. And for a trailered boat you could use either one and be fine. No need to make it more complex then it is. |

Aw, just forget about it! I saw someone launching last weekend that did ![]() It was a bit of Karma. I politely asked the guy to not park in the middle of the ramp while getting his boat ready in the future, but instead near the edge. He got all huffy, and I walked on. He launches, one of the passengers seems really excited, he puts the boat back on the trailer. I chuckled, but kept it un-noticable as he puts in the plug. What can I say other than "been there... done that". |

Are plug sizes somewhat standard? here is what I was looking at getting, but there are no specs listed http://www.iboats.com/Seasense_One_Way_ ... _id.237498 |

If memory serves, most of them I have seen are 1/2" NPT plugs. I like the concept of the link you sent - drain plug with a check valve.... |
