I ordered my '07 240 Horizon today. Now will have to spend the winter awaiting its arrival. Talk about seasonally depressed. I gained a lot of great information from this site prior to my purchase. I currently have a 1987 195 Sundowner, my first boat which has been great.

Congratulations! Give us some details....color, engine, etc... You must be psyched. Hard not to sleep with the catalog, right? :)

The new boat is pretty much loaded, I went with the 5.7 Gi / DP 280 hp. I was very impressed with the performance during a test run, 5 adults and 2 kids and still managed close to 47 MPH in a heavy chop. Was also impressed with the ride and dryness.
Color was the hardest choice. I wanted black or navy, my wife wanted the beachstone... so beachstone was the logical choice. It will match my truck atleast. Regardless of the color I know the family and I will be happy with our new toy.

Congratulations! Our first new boat was a 2002 240 Horizon and I still miss it. We got tons of "nice boat" comments and it never let us down. I know it was a different 240 than the 07's but it's still just about the perfect bowrider. Spring will be here before you know it!
