Seems decent for a 2007 H260. Looks nice in the pictures.

very nice boat with one MAJOR issue... 26 foot boat with only a 5.7. OUCH.

That boat needs the 8.1.

I agree about the power, maybe that is why it is priced like it is. I was just curious on pricing of this model, I have never really checked on them before.

That price is amazing. Local dealer has a simialr one here for 50K CAD. As stated the one downfall is the motor or is it?. My H260 loves it's 454 (7.4) and I have no power issues. But that being said... i've never driven a 5.7 l powered boat either. I am sure if you just wanted to cruise it would be fine.

As we all know, I have been trying to sell my boat and have had no lookers at the above 30K CAD price :x . More than likely I will have to get below 28K CAD to spark any interest.

The power is definitely the problem. My 2005 H260 had the 8.1L and if I was full of gear and fuel I needed the power to haul several people. The 320 hp would be ok for someone not looking for great speed/skiing/wakeboarding etc but the 8.1L is almost a must. That being said, the price is OK but in this market, you should be able to grab it for under $30K.

The days of using the term "in this market" are about gone, maybe a month or so you can get away with it, but not much longer. Excess inventory at dealers is dwindling rapidly, and used boat prices are starting to stabilize, and even climb as we slowly are now pulling out of this recession. You can always dream that the market we have experienced the last 9 or 10 months will continue, but it is progressively fading, and faster than you realize.

+1 to Cap'n. Deals are still out there... inventory still to be had - but nowhere near as much.

It'll be very interesting to see the discounting at boat shows this winter/spring. No more of the 30-40% off... with floor planning and inventory costs being higher, it'll be back to 20-25%. And because of that, used boat prices *should* improve. Also, because many dealers will carry less inventory, buyers may decide that the gently used boat that's ready for the water for thousands less will be just the ticket.

That 338 is still available here in Seattle for 140k though... wowsers. I think people just can't get the financing - and there's no more room to drop the price - I think it's out of FW's owership. (inventory floor planning company sold it off).

I will leave it to people who know the boat market better than I with regards to inventories etc. However, I caution all these people who feel like we are coming out of this recession and all will be well. I fear that there will be another big shoe that will be dropping either by the end of the year or early next year and the effects might be worse than they are now. I agree boat inventories will be tight but I think the market of potential buyers will be even tighter. Thus, sellers will have to keep their boats or accept less. This is only my belief so take it for what its worth.

I can't believe the price difference between the H240 and the H260. Seems you can get a leftover H 240 for 40-45k, but a leftover H260 will go for around 80-85k. Does this sound about right? Just what I've seen on boats.com. I can't see a H260 being twice the price of a 240. It is basically the same boat just streched two feet. Tell me if I am wrong.

They may be listed at 80, but i've never heard of anyone paying that for an H260. Holy smokes. That's a huge pay day for the dealer that gets someone to pay that!

Coug, that is why I asked about the H260 in this thread. Even though it does not have the big 8.1, I thought the price was okay in relation to what leftover one's are priced at. I agree, knowone would ever pay $80K for one.

I sold my '06 w/ the 8.1 and 325 hours on it for $37,500.

Good price but I wouldn't get that boat with that motor. I think a new H260 can be had for the $50k range loaded.

Yeah, tell that to the 20 or so people who have been escorted out past my office door today. :(
